How can I donate?
You can make a donation online by clicking the DONATE NOW button. This will take you to a page where you can actually direct your donation to a specific ministry.
You can also mail a check to us at St. David's Episcopal Church, 16200 W. 12 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48076.
You can drop by in person. Our office hours are M-F 10a-3p, and we're open Sundays from 8a-1p for worship. Any questions? Call us at (248) 557-5430

What type of donations do you accept?
Thank you for asking! We are happy to accept cash, checks, stocks, crypto currency, as well as other monetary vehicles.
We typically do not accept gifts of property, including pianos, organs, grave sites, or similar items. We ask that donors first liquidate assets and forward the proceeds.
Our food pantry always accepts donations of food, personal care items, cleaning products, paper products, and baby care items.
Contact our church office if you have a specific item you would like to donate.

Yes, please request this documentation when making your donation.

Can I earmark a donation for a specific use?
Yes! Donations can be directed to a variety of ministries including, Haiti Outreach, Food Pantry, Rector's Discretionary Fund, or the building.
Volunteer
St. David's runs on volunteers! We believe Jesus placed so much emphasis on helping others, certainly because there are those in need, but importantly, because we feel better about ourselves when we give.

How can I volunteer?
St. David's offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities including our food pantry, PLARN group, homeless shelter and rest home ministries. Contact the church office for more information.

Can I bring friends to volunteer with me?
Yes! The more the merrier! Being a member of the church is not required to volunteer. Friends are always welcome!

Where do you volunteer?
Some talents are used on the grounds, some within the office and some within the church. There's almost always something that needs to be done.

Do you have long-term volunteer positions?
Yes! Some of our volunteers have been on the job for years. But you can decide on the length and duration of your commitment. We're just happy to have you aboard!
Giving and Stewardship
General Offering
General donations allow St. David’s to fulfill our call as witnesses to God’s love, and to continue our more than 70-year heritage of vibrant and exciting worship, outreach and hospitality.
Your contribution, however large or small, helps cover operational expenses and keep our various missions and ministries alive and thriving.
St. David’s is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and all contributions are U.S. tax-deductible. Contact the church office for our latest Stewardship Booklet.
Pledge
Making an annual pledge is among the most essential commitments members of St. David’s can make. Financial pledges allow us to budget wisely as we offer ministries and services to our members and the wider community. Whether you pledge at $2 or $20,000, every dollar counts!

Music support
You are invited to support the parish’s three choir programs, special musicians, and our 1969 Teller’s organ by direct financial contribution of any amount. By so doing, you will join many others who value our music as a part of their worship. All contributions to our music program are directed exclusively to the sustain our high quality worship.
Altar Flowers
One of our parish's long traditions is to allow people to purchase flowers to enhance our worship experience.
These donations can be done 'in the name' of a loved one. This is usually published in our Sunday bulletin so others can share in gratitude for this gift.
In Memory or Honor
If you would like to remember someone close to you by making a donation in their memory, we can help you do so. Simply enter the name of your loved one next to your donation and specify to whom we should send a note of your gift. This is a valuable and positive way to celebrate the life of a loved one while helping St. David’s further its mission. Our Rector has compiled a Wish List of needed items that include:
$2,000 - Tree planting
$5,000 - Conference room refurbishing
$10,000 - Stained Glass window lighting/care
$25,000 - Firearm disposal van/equipment
$50,000 - Organ upgrades
$100,000 - Sanctuary air conditioning
$400,000 - New parking lot and sidewalks
$1,000,000 - Fund our endowment account
