Music Director - Devon Hansen

Devon was born and raised in Canada and currently lives in Windsor, Ontario. He has a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Wayne State University and will begin taking classes at Wayne to obtain a master’s degree in musicology, specializing in the study of church music.

Devon is coming to us from First Presbyterian Church of Farmington Hills where he held the position of organist. Although St. David’s will be Devon’s first time in leading a church choir, he has experience directing choirs in various musical theater settings, a passion that he pursues in his spare time. Devon is excited about coming to St. David’s to guide our musical program.

“I’m really encouraging anyone who has any kind of vocal or musical experience to join us,” Devon said. “I’d also like to find out if there are any parishioners who might possibly have some hidden talents that can be utilized.”  “I’m looking forward to working with everybody and enhancing the musical part of our worship here at St. David’s,” Devon said.
