About Us... "Why I/We Joined St. David's

Here are photos of and comments by folks who have recently joined St. David's.

		Gary and Karla “Father Chris is the kind of priest that we enjoy,” Gary said.  “In addition, we found St. David’s to be comfortable and the parishioners to be very friendly.  We felt very welcome,” he said.
		Bethany She liked the diversity of our parish community and how everyone was friendly and genuinely down-to-earth.
		Sarah Sarah said that parishioners have been really nice and helpful in her transition to a new church.
		Lorraine ... discovered St. David’s through the Haiti Outreach Mission program. She had visited the church a few times to assist with filling the bins that are shipped to Haiti each year. She began to receive the newsletters and decided to attend services. Subsequently, she read our mission statement and decided that she liked what we do.
		Sally After visiting several Episcopal churches in the area, Sally came to St. David’s at the suggestion of one of her acquaintances and is happy she did. Like most newcomers, Sally felt very welcomed into the parish and has found Father Chris’ sermons to be an inspiration to her.
		Robert and Malissa and family ... started attending St. David’s last fall after their children had attended St. David’s Vacation Bible School. “People are so friendly at St. David’s and they made us feel at home,” Malissa said. She described St. David’s as a “place of peace,” and of having a “calming effect” on one’s spiritual journey. “Fr. Chris makes us feel so welcome.”
		Sean and Jennifer and family “St. David’s has been a blessing,” Jenny said. “As soon as we walked in, we found everyone to be very welcoming. We felt as if this was a good place to be. The message we get is one of love and acceptance,” Jenny said. They are very happy at St. David’s and enjoy Father Chris’s sermons. They also enjoy the diversity of our congregation. Jenny added, “the diversity of the church is very much aligned with our beliefs and values.”
