'Capital Fund' Drive

As a congregation we have always been able to come together to make great things happen for ourselves and for others in need. With our Haiti Mission we were able to raise over $10,000 to help contribute to better lives for those less fortunate, our Hammer and Nail Club has done an outstanding job in repairing areas of the church, and more.  We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your contributions to our overall mission.

Recently, we utilized a portion of our dedicated funds to repair our roof. We are starting a “Capital Fund” to raise money to repay the loan from our dedicated funds.  The goal is $42,000 which was spent on the roof.

Our “Capital Fund” drive will consist of a three year pledge (2011-2013) in varying amounts of $250, $500 and $1000.  To reserve your pledge today, please complete and return the 'capital fund' form in the box outside the sanctuary (click here to print the form with Adobe Reader).  Your pledge will stand as a testimony to your generosity and interest in the future of our Church.

In the early months of 2010, we applied for grants from the Diocese to restore some of these funds, and in July 2010, we received $20,000.

Any funds that are raised in excess of the $42,000 “Capital Fund” will go towards other capital projects that may include:

   - Air-conditioning in the sanctuary
   - Replace furniture in Fellowship Hall
   - Refurbishing bathrooms
   - Parking lot repairs

-THANK YOU from your Stewardship Committee

As of December 31, 2010 - $60,000 in grants and pledges were raised - Approximately $30,000 of these grants and pledges have been collected.
